Solar bottle lights Project was awarded in the Momentum for Change in COP 17. Illac Diaz gave a presentation about the project in the launch. UN Sec Gen Mr. Ban Ki-Moon and H.E. Mr. Jacob Zuba, President of South Africa were in attendance.

Plastic bottles are re-used to serve as ‘lightbulbs’, bringing light into homes that would otherwise be in darkness. The programme will have reached 200,000 beneficiaries this year.
